Queen Helene - Mint Julep Masque - Mask Review

What the product promises:
The original home treatment developed by a dermatologist that helps dry up acne pimples, rinse away blackheads and shrink enlarged pores. Simply apply to your face and neck. Within minutes, it firms and hardens, drawing out impurities from your pores. After the masque is removed, your skin will feel clean, refreshed and smooth. Even for individuals who are fortunately free of skin problems, this product is a refreshing facial treatment that helps relax tired muscles and ease tension lines on face and neck.

I've been using this mask for about 3 years now and it's still one of my favorite face masks.
I keep coming back to it and re-purchasing it over and over again.
You can apply this all over your face to help with acne problems or even if you're just want to pamper your skin and feel refreshed and glowing.

Directions of use:
Cleanse face and neck thoroughly. Apply masque generously and allow to dry for about 15 minutes. Leave on problem areas overnight, if desired. Remove with warm water and a wash cloth.

I use this mask once a month or as necessary. It's what I call a pampering mask. I don't use it for a specific skin issue I just love putting it on and enjoying a relaxing time at home. I will usually use it before a big event or at night when my skin is not at it's best condition or when I'm just stressed out.

This is an amazing clay mask for anyone but it really helps combat oily skin and helps achieve deeply cleansed complexion. also, if you are someone who is suffering from acne or breakouts you can even use it overnight as a pimple treatment just carefully apply it on using a cotton swab and wash away in the morning.

The scent is amazing smells minty and has a bit of a cooling affect when applied on. I apply a thick layer of it all over the face avoiding the eye area and leave it until it is completely dry (about 20 minutes).  It instantly absorbs excess oil, extracts impurities and helps minimize the appearance of pores.

Once washed off with warm water you will notice the difference immediately! The skin feels refreshed, squeaky clean, looks healthy and the pores more refined.

L'oreal Skin Perfection BB VS. CC - The Winner

and the winner is... THE BB!

about a week ago I mentioned in this post that I've got the new BB and CC cream from L'oreal and shared my first impressions from each product. 

After a full week of using both I think that the BB is better for my skin and needs.

I absolutely love the dewy look it leaves on my skin, It's so lightweight which makes it perfect for summer time.

It covers imperfections well enough for a BB and gives me an even skin tone.

It doesn't clog pores and gives a very natural look to the face, it blends into the skin evenly and effortlessly.

The scent is very subtle and doesn't irritate and it has SPF 25 which is a must for the summer time.

It's very hydrating and you can skip using an additional moisturizer.

The only downside is that it's available only in 2 shades: Fair & Medium. So not everyone can find their right shade.

TONYMOLY Double Needs Pang Pang Mascara #2 Curling Pang - Review

Another fun Korean product coming from the brand Tony Moly.

This Pang Pang mascara is not new in the market, I think it was launched a year back.

I made a purchase awhile back and haven't got the chance to use it because I had a lot of other tubes of mascara to go through.

so the second my previous mascara began to show signs of drying I grabbed this out to test it out.

The mascara comes in 5 types

• Volume Pang (#1) - Comes with a pine shaped brush, promises rich volume effect without clumps,

• Curling Pang (#2) - Comes with a peanut shaped brush, promises high curling effect. 

• Long Long Lash (#3) - Comes with a curve shaped brush, promises extraordinary length with the help of 4mm long fiber,

• Brown (#4) - curling effect with deep brown color for a more natural and tender look.

• Blue (#5) - curling effect with  blue color which creates chic gorgeous look.

I went for the pink tube which is #2 Curling Pang. 

so the product promises:

• Thrilling kill heel curling - a bit higher, a bit more thrilling eyelash curler effect. high curling effect of customized brush for powerfully curled lashes without the help of eyelash curlers.
• Deep Jet Black Color - Sharpens up unclear eyelashes with darker color for deeply contoured effect.

• Hypoallergenic water cleansing - easily washed with warm water.

The Packaging as expected from Korean brands is so cute and pretty, it catches your eye immediately.The formula is very wet which is OK for a new tube, because after a few uses it will be perfect. It's indeed gives a nice curl to the lashes, the color is very jet black on the lashes and creates quite a dramatic look. 

The brush is relatively medium sized brush and it's very easy to apply also on the bottom lashes without smudging it under your eyes or on the lids. it's very water proof, doesn't smudge at all during the day. And surprisingly removes easily at the end of the day! 

When applied it's a little bit clumpy and creates spidery looking lashes. So girls who doesn't like that effect might get disappointed from this one. I absolutely loved it!

I'll definitely be getting some more mascaras form Tony Moly, It became one of my favorites to use.

How to Fix Broken Makeup - Step by Step Tutorial

Don't you hate when it happens?

your favorite powder product shatters on the floor cause you're too clumsy or too tired in the morning to hold things..

Before I found out that any broken product can be fixed in a few easy steps without changing it's color or texture I would get so frustrated on throwing away products that I love.

But not any more! I have to share with you this amazing trick that can save A-N-Y powder in a few minutes, and so easy too!

what you'll need:

• Small spatula or a spoon.
• Rubbing alcohol (70% or higher).
• Empty pan or container (you can recycle the original one like I did here).
• Absorbent Paper or tissue paper

How to:

1. empty the entire contents of the broken powder to a smooth surface like a plate or a palette.

2. use the end of the spatula\spoon to break the chunks and create a smooth sand like powder.

3. take a few drops of the rubbing alcohol and mix into the powder. 

4. mix till you get a paste like consistency and there's no chunky parts in it.

5. Fill in the pan with the paste.

6. Take the paper\tissue place it on top of the paste and start pressing lightly with your fingers all over the surface, you'll notice the paper will absorb some of the alcohol but the product won't stick.

7. Continue doing this while pressing harder every time you take a new tissue. until the paper remains dry,

8. leave the product to air dry for 24 hours.

9. And you're done! Enjoy :)
